Free summer meals program to begin June 12

Nine locations across Clay County will make free breakfast and lunch available to children under 18

Clay County District Schools’ Food and Nutrition Services Department will launch its annual Free Summer Meals Program at nine school sites and one mobile location beginning June 12 through Aug. 4.
 
Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m., and lunch will be served from noon - 1 p.m. No application is required for children under the age of 18 to receive a free meal during these times, and meals will be available to accompanying adults for $2.00. Schools designated as breakfast and lunch sites that are also hosting reading camps will serve breakfast earlier to accommodate those students as well.

Keystone Heights Elementary School (335 SW Pecan St., Keystone Heights)
Middleburg Elementary School (3958 Main St., Middleburg)
Ridgeview Elementary School (421 Jefferson St., Orange Park)
S. Bryan Jennings Elementary School (215 Corona Drive, Orange Park)
W.E. Cherry Elementary School (421 Edson Drive, Orange Park)
Wilkinson Elementary School (4965 CR 218, Middleburg)
 
Mobile meals bus – lunch only, Monday-Thursday
Clarke House Park (1039 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park)
 
No meal service will be available on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
