The Florida Department of Health in Clay County’s Refugee Health Program provides services for people coming to the U.S. Once here, refugees are offered a health assessment within 90 days of their arrival (or 90 days of becoming eligible for services) at no charge to them, including immunizations needed for adjustment of immigration status.
The Refugee Health Program promotes and protects the public’s health by offering a health assessment and immunizations to eligible refugees, asylees, Cuban/Haitian entrants, Amerasians, Iraqi/Afghan special immigrants, and victims of human trafficking.
