The Readiness and Response program protects Clay County residents by reviewing comprehensive emergency management plans for many community health care organizations.
During disasters, public health preparedness staff ensure our community has access to adequate health care services, appropriate shelters for vulnerable populations, and a safe food and water supply. Our staff provides many trainings and exercises throughout the year, so we are ready for any man-made or natural disaster affecting Clay County.
