An EKG/ECG is a quick and painless test that measures the electrical activity of the heart. It can detect hidden heart conditions, including arrhythmias and cardiomyopathy, that may not appear during a standard sports physical.
Early screening helps identify potential risks and gives student athletes the safest start to the season. Incoming ninth graders and all high school athletes with no cardiac symptoms are eligible. If your student is experiencing cardiac symptoms, please consult their health care provider.
Our goal is to help families prepare early, ensure student safety, and make the screening process as simple and accessible as possible. Results are carefully reviewed and available within five days.

- EKG – $22
(150% of the current Medicare rate.)
Call 904-529-2800 to schedule your appointment. Please bring your ID, insurance cards, and any relevant medical information that may exempt your student from getting an EKG/ECG.
Please note: Our providers do not diagnose heart conditions. EKG/ECGs that require additional review will be referred to the appropriate specialist.
These services support the new requirements outlined in Florida Senate Bill 1070 (“Second Chance Act”), effective July 1, 2025, for participation in the 2026–27 school year.
